THE "REIMAGINED SERIES" IS A PERSONAL PROJECT that GIVEs ICONIC RELEASES FROM VARIOUS SECTORS, A MORE MODERN LOOK TO UPDATE AND BRING THEM BACK TO LIFE
Thirty years after its original release, I give my take on the classic Hip-Hop album “The Chronic” by Dr. Dre. Contrasting from the light version, I wanted to achieve the same type of resonance as the original cover by having a dark mode, with hints of green tonalities amidst the yellow colors that I wanted to keep and have the artist still be the focus of the piece.
The “Reimagined” Series is a personal project, so it’ll hardly see the light of day. Nonetheless, I wanted to visit the various stages a record suffers as it ages – from out of the store to ripped open to an aged and distressed cover.

Music is timeless, but classic aren’t an easy task to create. Dr. Dre was able to create one of the most impactful albums in Hip-Hop history to this day, and being able to inspire others in various areas is the truest form of art.
